“ Great chairs, good food ICE COLD BEER and wonderful service.......................... ”
“ Great food, excellent service, terrific atmosphere. Easy parking and a menu with lots of choices. What's not to like ”
“ Good food and service. Price was right. They have a Sunday brunch as well. Will definitely visit again. ”
“ We have been coming here for years. There had been a slip the last few years in quality of some of the dishes. We went again Saturday night. Restaurant was cleaner, we sat in bar area and it used to smell of smoke but this time air was clean. Don't know if they stopped smoking at the bar or got smoke eater put in but it was definitely an improvement. I was aware there was a new owner as I had inquired about stuffed flounder on the menu and he replied via email. Wife ordered catfish vermillion, I ordered redfish Louisiana and shrimp em brochette. Everything was cooked to perfection. Nothing burned or dry as we had encountered in the past. Ingredients and flavors seemed fresh. I also had a side Caesar's salad and it was crispy and cold, no wilted or brown lettuce. Didn't order crawfish this time around as they are still small but will next time. Young man working bar was also our server and he did an excellent job. ”
“ We both ordered the gumbo with hurricanes. Then I had the grilled shrimp napoleon on a bed of fettuccine with crawfish tails while my friend had the fried seafood. It was way too much food so we both took some home and got two meals out of it. The fettuccine with the sauce and crawfish tails was excellent. The service was friendly and efficient while the ambiance was calm, relaxed and happy. The only reason for four instead of five stars was the price at over $100 for two people. However, it was very nice. ”
“ I came in for lunch today, complements of the owner (Avery) after having a negative experience with one of the staff. He, along with David (my server) provided the best experience I've ever had. The food was excellent, and it was hot and fresh. It was a very warm and comfortable environment. I will definitely be back. Thank you guys! ”
“ This restaurant has been in the neighborhood for many many years and I have never tried it. However, today we were looking for something we hadn't eaten so we chose to come to French Quarter. We had a mix of food... One of us got the red snapper with the Diablo sauce on it and the other got fried catfish with beans and rice. Although catfish with beans and rice is considered basic , the flavor was so good. I really enjoyed the beans and rice flavor . The server was super friendly, helpful, and always kept us refilled, despite the Restaurant being quite busy and him serving several tables at the same time. I will definitely come again! ”
“ I stumbled across this restaurant while working in the area, and I have to say....I will be back! I eat catfish at ALOT of restaurant, but this place is hands down my favorite. Everything was amazing down to the service! Good portions, great taste, friendly staff. Try it! ”
